Cost control, quantity take-off and quotations for complex fit-outs.
Three cost control, procurement and coordination services for cruise, hospitality and luxury interiors. Start from what your project needs today.
Suspect you’re losing margin on a live project?
Got drawings and documents, but no BOQ or comparable quotes?
Need a single point of contact to take over the project?
General contractors and interior design studios that suspect they are losing margin on a live project, but lack a clear view of the numbers.
Independent review of budget, orders, supplier quotations and progress. Identification of variances and their causes. Report with prioritised corrective actions.
One-off engagement, 1-2 weeks, with a written deliverable and a debrief call.
13+ years handling exactly these numbers from inside projects, not as an outside consultant seeing them for the first time.
General contractors, interior design studios and fit-out contractors that need to turn drawings and technical documents into reliable numbers, either to buy from suppliers or to quote the end client. I don’t work on residential renovations or private jobs.
BOQ and quantity take-off extracted from drawings and PDFs, organised by category and supplier. Buy side: RFQ package, comparison and normalisation of the quotations received, comparison table with recommendation. Sell side: structured quotation for the end client, with explicit line items, assumptions and margins.
Per project, with scope and timing agreed based on the volume of documents. You can request the take-off only, the quotation comparison only, or the full path.
Hands-on experience with bills of quantities, including Expo Milano 2015 (Infrastrutture Lombarde, assistance to the Clerks of Works). Quotations and procurement handled on real cruise and hospitality projects, not theory.
Anyone who needs a project director or interim PM to take over day-to-day coordination of a complex project (suppliers, budget, schedule) without hiring a permanent resource.
Ongoing coordination. Single point of contact for suppliers and site. Periodic reporting on budget and progress.
Ongoing or interim engagement, with duration and cadence defined per project.
Hands-on experience on real projects in hospitality, cruise and luxury interiors, from Expo pavilions to ship interiors.
Cost control: where to start
Cost control on a fit-out starts with reliable numbers. If you have drawings but no bill of quantities, start with BOQ and quantity take-off. If the project is already running and you suspect variances, you need a cost and procurement audit. If you need someone to follow suppliers and budget day by day, choose project and procurement coordination. The three services are independent and can be combined.
