Project & Procurement Coordination for complex projects.
Procurement coordination and project coordination through a single contact: an interim project director who takes over suppliers, budget and schedule on your project, without you having to hire a full-time resource.
Who this service is for
Anyone who needs a project director or interim PM to take over the day-to-day coordination of a complex cruise, hospitality or luxury interiors project, without hiring a full-time resource.
Residential renovations and small private jobs. I work on complex projects, with multiple suppliers and technical documentation.
What procurement coordination includes.
One point of contact towards suppliers and site, from concept to handover.
Coordination of suppliers and procurement for the project.
Control of budget and schedule throughout the project.
Regular reporting on budget and progress.
When an interim project director makes sense
An interim project director makes sense when a project is complex enough to need constant cover on suppliers, budget and schedule, but not long or recurring enough to justify a hire. It happens, for example, at work peaks, on projects with several suppliers in parallel, or when your internal contact is overloaded.
Procurement coordination covers the buying side of the project: requests for quotation, comparison of offers, orders, deliveries and supplier relations. Project coordination covers the rest: schedule, progress, budget and communication with site and client. In a single engagement you get one contact for both.
How it works.
Brief and scope
We understand the project, the suppliers involved and what you need from me. We define duration and cadence based on the project.
Taking over
I review budget, orders and supplier status so we start from a clear picture.
Coordination
I follow suppliers, schedule and budget as your single operational contact.
Reporting and handover
Regular reporting on budget and progress, and an orderly handover at the end of the assignment.
Format
Ongoing or interim engagement, with duration and cadence defined project by project.
I work with a few clients at a time, to be truly your point of reference.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between an audit and coordination?
The audit is a one-off review of the numbers of a live project, with a final report. Coordination is ongoing cover: I follow suppliers, budget and schedule of the project myself.
Can I start with an audit and move to coordination later?
Yes. Many projects start with an audit to get clarity and then decide whether ongoing cover is needed.
How long does an engagement last?
It can be ongoing or interim. Duration and cadence are defined per project before we start.
Do you also work on small projects?
No. I work on complex projects with multiple suppliers and technical documentation, not on small private jobs or residential renovations.
